I've been fortunate enough to receive many Canadian Press Picture of the Month Award nominations over the years, but have yet to be fortunate enough to win one. Below you will find some of the photos I've been nominated for. Check back, because everyday I keep trying for that first win.

Ice Rescue

December 2004: News Category - A Fredericton Firefighter uses an ice sled to inch his way across the half frozen St. John River to rescue a man trapped in the ice.

Linesman down

July 2004: News Category - Parents rush to the aid of a linesman that was knocked off his feet after being struck by the lightning. People around him are still on the ground afraid to get up in case there is another strike.

Lone survivor

May 2002: News Category - Coca-Cola employees remove their scorched machine from the scene of an early morning fire that destroyed a Home Hardware store.

Duck weather

April 2002: Enterprise Category - Spring time flooding of the St. John River around the Fredericton area made some soccer fields off limits to humans, but just right for ducks.
